There are 4 more days till first entry deadline... Meanwhile, here is view into finish area for second stage:

Slowly first entry deadline is aproaching. At the moment there is plenty of snow in Croatian mountains so mapmaking there is at the moment in stand-by mode...  But don´t worry, there is always something going on in here ;). On every stage (with exception of last stage in Golubinjak) new map or at least new part of map will be presented! We consider that to be great achievement for our small club! When looking at maps for this year it seems that every stage will be unique and techicaly demanding ranging from hot sunny sprint in Adriatic island of Krk to devil´s garden in Golubinjak

Nevertheless, it is busy time for us and club is also organizing plenty of events beside orienteering (such as Europaean cup for youth in luge on natural track in Delnice) so we are trying to keep active all-year round.

When looking at current entries in elite classes biggest star is for sure Michal Horáček from Czech Republic but we are expect some strong elite runners also ;). We hope that you will be ready for interesting edition of Croatia open. 

Preliminary course planing for first stage is done. You may check it out in analysis section. Also, we will provide training close to map used for first stage. You may check it out on this link. Area used for first stage will be very interesting fast plateu on 1000m altitude with plenty of depresions made under influence of last ice age in Croatia.

Courses looks very tempting and you may expect some longer route-choises as well (after all, it is short-long distance) but on some parts of courses planing reminds on middle distance with plenty of short legs and changes in direction. Soon we will publish preliminary lenghts for other stages.

There have been changes regards payment. Since payment of entry fee was by club bank account for individual payment you had to pay quite big amount to bank (often equal to entry fee). Therfore we have decided that form now on only clubs with more than 10 persons must pay in advance on our bank account. Note that this stands only for first entry dedline.

Otherwise, we are busy with course-planning and map drawing. Hopefull by end of first entry deadline you should get more insight into course lenghts...

*All runners who make entry during 1^st deadline must pay entry fee before 15^th April 2013 on club bank account (in Euro). Otherwise you will be charged for entry fee as it stands for second deadline. All runners who make entry after 15^th March 2013 can pay either on our bank account or in cash upon your arrival in Croatia.

*All runners who make entry during first deadline can also pay in cash upon arrival - entry fee will be the same. Only clubs with more than 10 persons MUST pay in advance. Note that this stands only for first entry deadline.

We have decided that becouse many runners complained about high bank fee they had to pay - often higher than entry fee. Soo, you may choose to pay in cash or on our bank account.

New version of Sungerski lug will soon be done! Totaly new karst type of terrain just across the road! It is going to be interesting to see how will you adapt from flat "marshy" terrain into hard stony karst ;).

Meanwhile, sprint map on Krk will soon be done and you may expect some map samples...
